Custom Turbo Inlet-Fits Like Stock!

The accordian piece will fit on this inlet design. I'm not sure I am understanding you. This will work with the stock airbox too. Maybe these picture will help.

i'm just going off of what ATP says. i agree that as long as the new piece lines up just like the stock one, it should fit anything. ATP claims thats not true. they sell their inlet in 3 different configurations. i dont see why one wouldnt work. i understand the larger inlet for big turbo users, and the option to not have a recirc port, but why would you need a breather fitting on it ? that should be on the cai, or be on the accordian piece for those with a stock box or half assed intake. beats me !!

thanks for the update, now i know what to expect when mine goes on !

By the way, I may be the reason why they now offer the other configuration options. At least the MS CAI one. I emailed them a bunch of pictures of how it lined up with the MS CAI and asked them If I could send it back because I just wasn't satisfied with my configuration. They were very helpful by the way. All through my install, they shipped me other pieces to get it to work for me. I have nothing but good to say about ATP with my experience. ATP is a VERY customer friendly dealer!

I don't mean to jack my own thread, back on topic!

My buddy went to a MS3 event last night and 3 MS3 guys immediately saw the logos on his car and asked him about the inlet! Amazing how forums spead the word so well!

So, I have had the inlet on my car now for a few days and it is working like I designed it! No loose connections even without the mounting flange installed and more butt dyno power. We are still planning on the dynos this weekend. I can't wait! We are going to do it on my car and another guys car who only has the Cobb SRI. For my dyno, I'm going to have a MS CAI, MS CBE, PG Manifold, cp-e DP w/cat, Forge BPV, our new inlet and maybe the Cobb AP!

Hey Matt I lost your card from the other night. How close are you to being complete? Just let me know and I will be up to pick one up and throw a review down on the boards.

Scott

BTW thanks again for the AP!

We're still working it out. Got setup with a top-notch aluminum welding/mandrel bending manufacturer to mass produce these. I have already sent them the drawings/specs and will be sending them our prototype. The welds will be the best it can get! All made in the USA! The group buy will be on this forum, but purchasing will be done on my buddy's company web page. We will use a promotion code to get the group buy price. We're looking at about 4 weeks for initial shipments to be ready.

When we are all set up, i'll PM each of you that showed interest with the details.

Sorry it took so long, but here are the dyno images from last weekend. My wife has been getting progressivly upset with me spending too much time on this project. I was trying to put both graphs on one graph, but gave up. It is just too time consuming. Also, I was hoping to get the data logs from the Dyno Dynamics computer, but datalogging was inadvertantly left off after a re-boot of the dyno computer. These dynos are not final, cause we had a bunch of problems with the machine's weather station. I did do datalogs during all dynos on my laptop, but they are OBDII data. They are attached to the next post. This dyno reads much lower than most dyno machines.

JCT Turbo Inlet Runs:
