If you have a hatchback, there's a guy over in the Mazda3forums.com that's made a custom enclosure for an 8" sub that goes where the jack is mounted.

note: I am no longer over at Mazda3Forums.com you can catch me either here or on Axela Owners or on AIM at Memnoch6583...unfortunately right now due to the amount of those 8" boxes I need to make Iam not making any other custom enclosures at the moment. THere should be 3 more people putting in these boxes in their cars within the week so you can ask them questions about the quality/sound or anythign else for an unbiased review
