if i am not mistaken, this will be the first production fuel rail for the protege...and guess who is making it? Beau from Mental Addiction. I will have more details and pictures probably within 1-3 days. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up :)

I will have some pictures for everyone tonight. One of our AZ sponsor's will be running testing it out for us.It's a 1/2" ID fuel rail. You will have to run an aftermarket regulator with our rail.Any universal regulator will work.We will be using an Aeromotive one.

Woa that's BADASSS!!! I dig the blue fittings! hehe

Very impressive. It's about time the protege gets a fuel rail. We'll have pics of this on my car in the next few days er so. We have conflicting schedules but we'll make something work :)

whats the estimatedprice on it?

For the rail and the 2 O-ring fittings(the ones in the picture are not O-ring.) retail will be $99.But we will be offering it at $79 for the first month once we release it.We will be offering it in polished, red and blue(anodize).

We will have a complete rail kit that will include the rail, fittings,AeroMotive #13105 regulator,-6 braided line(feed and return).Price will be $299.

is this o.k to install on a non-turbo protege? I know there's no need but it looks cool and will be one less thing when I go turbo.

Beau, is that a pic of the rail on your blown block ? if so, can you send me your EGR valve/sensor on the TB with my "other goodies" :D mines messed up.

so what is the pro's to installing this fuel rail?
There is more fuel "on tap" and "ready to go" due to the larger capacity that the fuel rail holds.

When you on the throttle...there is less chance of not having enough fuel... ready to go with a larger rail.

I would assume from the the pics that an aftermarket FPR is going to be needed...

BUT AWESOME...SIGN ME UP!

yes you will need a new fpr...if you notice he is going to sell everything you need with the rail for 299
