2002 Mazda Protege ES
I am currently working with a company in making custom interior acc. for Mazda Protege's. I got my first shipment of parts today but I didnt have my camera with me. I will take pictures as soon as I get home. They are color matched knobs, seat lever, interior trim screw, stereo adjust, temp adjust and many other applications for Protege's. How many people would be interested in these? I can get you all of the contact information for the company but I just wanted to make sure you let them know that we sent you there way because they have been helping me out alot, as well as my boyfriend, with our applications. If you would be interested in anything like this let me know and I will get more information. Here is a few examples of what I am talking about on my bf's car...

I will get some pictures of them on my Protege as soon as I get home so you guys can get an idea of what they look like. Let me know what you think.

nice concept :)

if u guys could make fg door panels (to cover the fabric) that would be cool also

Thank you. Well what we are looking for is input on the items, and trying to see what people think of them and if they would buy them. I am just working with the company to broaden there market to make stuff more available for our style cars rather then just a few. Here are some pics of the Silver Billet covers on my car...

They come in all different colors as well. I have a bunch more pictures I'll get a few more uploaded so I can post them for you guys to view.

are these new pieces or something to slip over? Removing and putting back those seat adjusting handles is a real pain.

They just pop over top of the existing knob, lever, etc. They dont replace. I know its a real pain to get the lumbar adjusts off without the tool. Thats actually what I like about these covers. When you paint them they are for the most part stuck that way, I mean you could use laquer thinner to get paint off but the chances of ruining them are higher. These are priced great, cheap and easy modification that looks great and can change the look of your interior. Also nobody really knows about these or that they are available for Mazda's yet this is the only board I have even brought them up on because I figured you guys would be interested. Want some more pictures of how they look, and them off the pieces?

Here are a few more pictures

And here is the passenger side seat lever.

If you are interested....Either send me a IM with your information and I will have them get in touch with you, or log on to www.mrkgroup.net to check out the different colors they have them in, and they have them in others that arent listed on the site. Or you can email them at sales@mrkgroup.net. One thing I ask is please let them know that Doug from Street Source Magazine (my bf) sent you over because they are alot of stuff for us and helping out alot and we want them to know that we are returning the favor. Just let them know what model you have and which covers you will need and they will give you a quote.

I didnt recieve my AC knobs back yet but as soon as I do I will post pictures of those as well.

The first thing I change on any car is the cd player... These aren't very appealing to me ... the others are cool, are you just gonna have painted? or can you get colored carbon fiber (yummy)

Yea they have carbon fiber. These arent painted either so they wont chip off or anything. They are very durable. And yea I plan on changing the CD player one of these days, just havent had the cash flow to do so lol. I want to get an in dash CD/DVD.

You can see the different colors on this page... http://www.mrkgroup.net/orderframeset.html

Its the same design as the stock knob. Just an overlay. And you can buy everything together or alone.

ahh i've never seen a stock head unit so i wouldnt know

Oh haha, yea the cool thing about these is they still take the same shape and texture as the stock pieces so your not loosing the design. Trust me the stock headunit will be gone soon :)

Just wondering if anybody contacted them/ordered from them. My AC knobs will be here tomorrow and I will post pictures of them up so you all can see.

I'd like a pic of carbon fiber ac knobs, I'm pretty interested in those...

You can view all of the colors they have available including carbon fiber at there website www.mrkgroup.net or Custom Knobs . Let me know if you guys end up ordering anything. Dont forget to let them know that Doug from Street Source Magazine sent you there way. Also I do believe that they are going to put a few auctions up on Ebay with the covers, I will try to get the links for you guys.
