Ok so I had guy that I know that is really good with piping and does powdercoating make this for me. My original plan was to just have him powdercoat my injen intake also to have it all match. But instead he just made me a new intake since I decided to relocate my mass air flow sensor. So I do have an injen intake that is in good shape that I will be posting up fpr sale here soon. But here are the pics. Enjoy. Let me know what you guys think.

Also I was wondering if it would be OK to trim all thoose pieces out that are in the bumper. Just dont want my bumper to start sagging.

Looks like a well put together piece (thumb)

...and yea, cutout those tabs u dont need em unless u wanna put your front grill back on later. And no, your bumper will not sag from the removal of them.

what intercooler is that cause i love the way it looks..and did you have to do any cutting to install it?

and what was the finall cost

Get him to assemble a kit...subsequently sell them on here w/ AV status :) Looks like a super clean install man!

WOW, that looks really really clean. They did a damn good job. Im actually ashamed now of what my piping looks like. Again, what front mount is that. Precision? other?

Beautiful. However it looks as though either you cut the bumper reinfocement or removed it..... (shrug)

Ok to answer all your questions. I am not actually sure what brand the core is. All I know is that he did some measuring and had one ordered. I will ask him what the brand is tomorrow. I have no doubt that it is good quality though. I know that the intake piping is 3''. Looks like the charge piping is very similar in size as well. He charged me 1100 for the whole setup installed and everything.
That price included the custom core, the turboXS bov, the custom piping, the new cold air intake, all the couplers and t bolt clamps, a K&N filter, custom powdercoating(which he can do 100s of colors), intsallation, and all the other little misc pieces. Pretty much I dropped my car off with him on Monday. It was finished mid wednesday and I just picked it up today. The 1100 included everything. Not a bad deal in my opinion.

that is an awesome deal! no doubt.

i wanna find someone like that around here.

how does it run?

That is the cleanest FMIC setup I have seen on any protege. That looks better than the Perrin IMO. WOW. If you werent 14hours away, I would drive out there and have him do the same to my car....

I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome. The guy did an amazing job and he is super nice. I would recommend him to anyone. Even if you are out of the missouri area it would be well worth it, especially for the price. I'm so happy for you Alex. I how bad you have been wanting this!!

just wow. cleanest setup/engine ive ever seen. how does it run tho? when i went from lil side mount to big front mount it changed everything.
