Sorry guys...I posted an update on the other site but got side tracked before I got here. (bang)

Spoke with Randy (VonMort) just yesterday about this. He is one of the partners in the company that will actually be producing these pieces. The machinist is wrapping up another job he's on right now. Sounds as if we will have the first prototype within a week. I know this seems like it's taking forever, but I have a feeling the wait will be well worth it! (drinks)

so this can be used for OEM style battery as well as optima? Cause I dont have an optima now so I'd like one to fit my OEM battery now but will get an optima battery down the road and this could work for both. Waiting on pricing info

Yes, this should be able to be used for the OEM style battery as well as the Optima. That is one of the things we will verify once the first one is made. Pricing is also waiting on the first one......once it's produced we will be able to set pricing on them.

He hasn't released pricing yet and the design of the tie-down is posted a couple of posts back. Maybe a page or something back, but he posted the general design of it.

The tie-down shouldn't be too much. Depending on what options you want as well will factor into the price. But hopefully shouldn't cost anywhere over 100.00. Probably not even close to that price, but can't really set that in stone until Kevin releases more details.
