Curbed rim

I jsut curbed my front right side of the car, sucks. but i sanded it and painted over it. how hard would i have to hit to mess up the drive train/drum that u mount the tires onto?

i would think it would need to be a fairly hard hit to do major damage. that being said, obviously your wheel is not meant to take impact in that direction, so there will be some sort of detriment, but probably one that you will notice. My experience tells me that even if you hit at ~5 - 10 mph, worst case scenario is that you need a fresh allignment.

so, whats the story, did you hop a median or something?? lol

i was turning on a round about they have and going a bit too fast. i could have gotten the turn but there was alto of sand and dirt on the street from construction so my car slid right and i bounced off the curb, it got abotu half of the rim, u cant tell it happend cuz i sanded it back down and painted

yea i was dong about 10-15 at the most, i drove the car around and it feels fine, jacked the car up and spun the wheel and it doesnt wobble or look misaligned.

mainly jsut ****** up my rim

yeah youre probly ok then. keep an eye on it tho, sometimes small problems get bigger over time. I have a misallignment in the front left wheel, its not causing any abnormal tire wear but its driving me crazy. Im waiting to get my new springs (and possibly struts) to fix it and in the meantime im goin crazy.
