Cruise control

Dont know if this is the proper section to put this in but oh well. Every day on my drive to work i set the cruise control (i have way too many speeding tickets) and if i dont hit the button to shut it off it will remain on. Its kinda hard to explain....If i hit the brake or clutch the one cruise light will go off, but then the 2nd one wont reset even after i turn the car off. Is this normal? I figured once u shut off the car it would reset. (deadhorse

The yellow-ish "Cruise main" just indicates the cruise control system is on and, well, "armed".. so should you hit set or resume the green "cruise" light will turn on to say it's controlling the speed and you can take your foot off the gas.

The "cruise main" light should only be controlled by the "on/off" button, and it does stay on after you hit cancel, hit the clutch or brake, even after you shut off the car and restart it.

This is the behavior I have observed. I know some cars turn off their "main" switch when the car gets turned off, but the other cars are also much more annoying.

yeah thats normal, petey summed it up.... so just don't hit the resume button by accident.....
