cruise control shuts off

I have already posted this thread once, so sorry if you've already seen this. I'm posting again because I couldn't find the first one.


I need help.....from anybody!!!

The problem:

When I turn my headlights on ( or parking lights for that matter) my cruise shuts off. Not sure if it's a short or a bad ground or a voodoo curse. I own a 2002 Pro5 w/Autostick.
I would really appreciate some feedback on this matter if anyone has any suggestions.

(This is Cleo) I put a voodoo curse on all P5's.

No, come to think of it....it might be some sort of safety thingy. Think about it, when do you normally turn your lights on?......at night.....Do they think it is safe for a driver to have the cruise on at night when a driver is most prone to falling asleep?......Just a thought. Lets see if the other P5 owners have the same problem.

yea my PR5 used to work jsut fine at night with my cruise conrol i am thinkin it might be my LED lights i jsut put in my rear brake and turn signal lights i am think it started after i put them in but not shure really i am gonna take them out and put the regular ones back in and see what happens................I do knwo i need to put a load qualizer on my turn signals in back cause LED's use liek almost no power so all the blinkers blink real fast like i havea burnt out bulb, and the load equalizer makes it think that i have a regular bulb back there maybe i need to put some on my brake led's as well for my cruise to work right. if anybody has any htoughts ont his please let me know
