Cruise control failed

The cruise control failed in my 2016 GT. Only 5900 miles. I do leave the cruise set in the ON position all the time. I'm not sure if that contributed to the failure but it shouldn't. In case you are wondering, I use cruise control very frequently because I'm paralyzed and using cruise gives my hand a rest from holding the throttle all the time on my hand controls.

What does your service adviser say?
Usually, failure in cruise control is due to vacuum leak.

Vacuum is old teck. Everything is electronic now. Check your fuses...

It goes in Tuesday. Not a fuse. It intermittently works.

They replaced the pad underneath the button controls. Simple $23 part.
