Creaking in roof

Hey everyone, I'm a new member, this is my first posting. I have a 2005 SP23 with 7200 miles, which so far has been a fantastic car. The only major issue I'm having is with a very noticeable creaking in the roof whenever I turn right (not left) into a driveway or onto any other uneven surface. I first began to notice it turning into my own driveway, which is a bit steep. I have a sunroof and curtain airbags, so the sound may be coming from one of those two things, or perhaps it's just structural -- obviously, turning into a steep driveway twists the body. I would expect a little bit of creaking as the car gets on in age -- my 2002 Protege started to creak a little, but only after the car had over 40,000 miles on it and was 3 years old. But this car is less than a year old, and the noise is very noticeable. It kinda sounds like a combination of structural creaking and trim pieces popping a bit, but nothing's come undone or loose. Anyway, sorry for the long post, I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this, and if so, did you have the dealer do anything about it? Thanks!

not exactly related but i had the same problem in my Protege5. The creaking came from the sunroof area. Tried lubes of diff kinds and still it creaked. When I installed some thicker strut bars (namely the rear one), the creaking stopped. It was due to the body twisting a little when going over uneven surfaces.
