Creak/squeak in B-pillar area

OK, now this is annoying the crap out of me. Recently I started hearing this creak/squeak coming from the driver's side B-pillar/front window frame area when the MS3's body encounters torsional forces going over bumps or even when I accelerate.

I'm not sure if it's the adjustable seatbelt anchor or maybe the door seal that run's vertically again st the B-pillar.

Anyone ever heard this or taken that area apart? I rapped on the area around the adjustable anchor and there are metallic rattles probably due to the adjustable anchor assembly, but the sound I'm hearing is less metallic and more plastica/rubber sliding against each otherseems like it's eminating form the window frame/door seal.

It's really driving me nuts.

Solution to creaking!

So my dealer recommended I use Wurth Rubber Conditioner on the door seals to stop the creaking I was hearing. I was skeptical since to my ear the sound was more mechnical than rubber rubbing against rubber.

This weekend I applied Wurth to ALL my door seals including the rear hatch seal and much to my surprise it completely got rid of the creaking.

My car is quiet and feel "solid" again.

GM sells a door seal conditioner really cheap that works wonders too...has to, given the propensity of GM cars to develp squeaks and rattles, lol

Oh I forgot to add...

That I also wiped between the rubber seals in which the power windows seat as well (on all three sides of the door frame). The rag I used to wipe down the seals turned black by the time I finished. Very rewarding.

FYI, the dealer believed that part of the issue may have been a combination of dirt and the harsh chaemicals used in touchless car washes. Those chemicals supposedly dry out the seals and harden the rubber.

yeah on occasion if birds divebomb me and I don't have time to handwash. But I do it maybe 2 times a year on average.
