06 Mazdaspeed 6
Hey guys i am still new to this whole world. Well i got a 2006 Mazdaspeed6 just a little over a month ago, and while i like the stock wheels there just not doing it for me. I have been looking around and thinking i would just replace them with another set of 18x7 or 7.5 and use my tires, but then i got to thinking. My Mustang has the exact same lug pattern and some of the mustang wheels have some pretty positive offset. For example my old 01 Polished Cobra's 17x8 with a +30mm offset and 5.72" backspacing. Here is a picture of the wheels. This was just a thought to do something different and not be so common. Give me your idea's and opinions. Who knows Maybe it will work with a small spacer?

if you have the wheels, throw them on and see if they fit.

I don't i sold them to get my new ones i have now on my Mustang with 10.5" rear wheels with a 315 Nitto Drag radial. Although i am trying to sell them to go back to the polished wheels anyway and have 2 sent off to be widened.

just make sure the rotational distance is the same for both front and back or else you could cause probelms with the cars awd system and burn out the lsd or t-case...

Yeah I would probably do a 235/45/17 on them since there 17x8. When i had them on my stang i ran a 255/45

+30 is a little too low to put on 235/45. Also, spacers will essentially lower your offset making it stick out more.

To bad Win you dont have those polished 01 Cobra wheels. Because they are a nice looking wheel and might work for your ms6. I too have a older mustang with some black bullit wheels that i thought about putting on my ms6 just for s**** and giggles.
