Crazy Drive from NC today

If driving back from a jobsite 8 hrs away wasn't bad enough, the events that transpired today were rather intersting.

First off, I was just about landed on by a small single engine plane. He looked like he was down on power. He had his wing flaps down and had a steep tail down pitch like he was trying to gain altitude. He was approaching the interstate slowly from the side and turned to parallel the highway. It seemed as though his intentions were to use it as a landing strip. At the last minute when he was about 20-30 feet from the median's surface he started to climb. I rounded a corner shortly thereafter and couldn't see if anything else happened. This was on I-20 in SC.

Secondly, some crazy woman was trying to run people off the road, myself included. The front of the Suburban that I was driving was probably no more than 2 inches from her car when she tried to run ME off the road. Additionally, she'd lock her brakes in the middle of the road with a row of cars behind her as well as weave back and forth to keep people from passing her allthewhile flashing the lights and honking the horn. I called 911 and they said that I was the 3rd person to call about the situation. I've NEVER seen anything like this. I couldn't beleive how close she was to me. The brakes on the 'burb are bad enough and it doesn't slow for anything. I was was ->||<- this close to intentionally pulling a PITT maneuver on her due (when the opportunity was presented) to the fact of the havoc she was causing. Had it been my truck, I probably would have. Eventually she ran off onto the shoulder and just about off the pavement when I passed her the second time. She was driving a newer Intrepid that was quite scarred on the driver's side like she'd already hit something hard.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share the day's events. Long drives can be interesting after all, heh.

sheesh... what a b****, i would have done the manuever and then sued her for damages

(hmm) Did you ever find out what this was about? Was she on the news or anything?

Nope, didn't watch the news. I was very close to turning around and being nosey, heh. But I wanted to get home.
