Cracked Windshield

Hey guys.. haven't posted here in a while

Anyhow just to let you know, about 2 weeks ago it was around -15 outside and i had just left the house, didnt really warm the car and i hit a small hole ( it wasn't big ) and my windshield cracked.. about 15 centimeters in length.. !!!

Anyhow i got it under warranty for free.. ( its 600$ + 150$ install at my mazda, bunch of ripoffs !!! )

They had no idea why, but since there was no inpact they are changing it. Is it because of the suspension and cold or just bad luck?

That really doesn't sound too good. I have had some small impact cracks, but nothing like that.

By the way, is that -15 C or -15 F?
