Dude Honestly your best bet is just to take it to a body shop and have the stuff painted... If your using any kinda spray can Base and primer 9 times out of 10 it wont match because of different variance of colors... yeah you might say have a midnight blue mica protege but it doesnt mean your color will match perfectly to your friends it could be lighter, or darker, more metallic, or bluer or whatever... besides any kinda can spray paint is gonna be hard to paint without leaving streaks or candy cane type stripes.... and to answer your q about the mazdaspeed thing... I personally would wet sand the hood down with 600 grit sand paper let it dry, You dont have to primer the whole hood just a the area your laying filler on and about 3 inches out, make sure you sand the primer with 600..., lay out your stencil or whatever, paint the hood... let the paint flash (meaning pretty much dry where all the shines gone) pull off the sticker and clear the hood... and CRASHKELLY... If I were you Id sand the hood down with 600, wash the hood with dish detergent to degrease it, and clear the whole hood... it should bring it back out... thats all thats on those hoods anyhow...
