CR 8.5 vs 9.0

I bought a car that had a blown motor. I am in the process of rebuilding with Forged Rods and will need to get new pistons. I will be keeping the motor pretty stock. Based on this, I assume I should go with 9.0 CR pistons vs 8.5.

I would like your opinions on this and at what point should you run 8.5 CR pistons. Also what is the preferred brand of Pistons?

i think they are called wieco pistons? the have them at PG. and unless you are going to do a bigger turbo and upping the boost(which it looks like you won't) go for 9 CR or you will have a sluggish motor.

If your not going to run big boost then dont run a low compression. if your staying around 12-14psi on the stock turbo keep the stock 9.0 CR
