cp-e winter fuel cut fix.

Thats only becuase of no mapclamp or bcd!

it happened with the cpe ems on the car as well. like i said i could roll through the gears and redline 6th and it wouldnt happen, but when it was under 30ish and i would load the ar up down low, it would boost cut as if i didnt have a map clamp. The fuel pump solved all my suttering and that has yet to come back in over 2500 miles and temps as low as 12 degrees

no no, my car never sputtered since the fuel pump. my car did boost cut under 4k rpm in very cold weather if i went wot throttle. This would only happen if i really loaded the car up. 4th gear 40mph at wot it would cut. if i go through the gears starting in 1st or 2nd or 3rd at a higher rpm, it never cut.

This is exactly my situation. I got fuel/boost whatever cut when going WOT from 3K on in 4th, 5th, and 6th. If it was really cold I could get it in 3rd. Once to redline though, I could shift through the gears and not have any problem. I believe the new pump lessened it but have no concrete proof. The IAT mod fixes that.

I know it depends on several variables b/c I could zero out my fuel map (in this case that would mean leaning it out b/c I had added fuel in the affected range) and get rid of FC. Going to lower boost lessened the frequency but I still got it. Therefore, IAT, MAF voltage, Boost, and gear selection affect the FC response.

In thinking about it further, my Boost Clip PSI (map clamp) was always set at 13. That means the boost I dialed in shouldn't affect the FC at WOT but higher boost will have higher temps for the MAP IAT sensor. THat makes me think the temp related FC is some screwball correlation btw the MAF and MAP IAT sensors.

Dada, try doing what driver did. Stretch out your coil spring a little bit on each of the 4 and see if it problem disappears. Its worth a shot.
