CP-E Standback or Cobb AP?

Where are you getting your info kingpin? You seem to be the minority when it comes to this.

ATR is seperate from the 2-step and WOT shifting that is planned.

He's probably trolling from over on the mazdaspeed forum where they are trash-talking Cobb. This forum is a bit tamer and not involved in the bickering....
 
i correct my previous statement. cobb has apologized, atr will be free on april 20th in beta form and they will continue working on launch control and flat foot shifting.
 
Cobb hasent come out with a map if uve got a FMIC, CAI, TBE, and a TIP plus i run 93 octane so where does that leave me..seems CP-E has more to offer in my situation??

You could run Stage 2+SF 93 FMIC and you should be fine. Just because a specific map isn't out for your mods, doesn't mean you can't run a map. You just need to err on the side of cautiousness. You could run the Stage 2 93 +FMIC map as well.

well yeah i guess im kinda on the fence of which one to buy, i have no tuning ability at all so cobb would seem more of a buy but if someone had some of the same mods on here as me i would like to know what map their running.

you can go custom map also or wait till monday and and get atr and make your own map
 
I wouldnt do it myself. I would rather do an e-tune. Or take it to a cobb dealer.
 
Qwik - how is the car running with the stage 2 without a TBE? The TP should open it up a bit but it doesnt look like you're running a full CBE either?
 
^True. Its running great with the staged 2 map. LTFT's stay within 0-4%. AFR is from 11.4-12.1 at wot. I have yet to see and knock retard over 1.3. I did try stage 2 a few weeks ago before my TMIC and TIP. Knock retard was always hitting up to 5.6. Changed it back to stage 1 quick.

I dont know how accurate this dynometer with the AP is but I just did a run. Even added 280 lbs to the cars weight.(Im 180 and my speaker box is 100lbs.) Peak hp to the wheels was 364 and torque was 374. I would like to think it is that much :)

Another thing I did notice with the stage 2 map is the exhaust has a deeper tone to it.
 
Thats pretty interesting. we'll have similar mods once I get my TIP, SRI on and get a TMIC. I have TP coming but wasnt planning on going for a full CBE or messing with a new DP (at least not yet). Which Stage 2 map are you running? the fmic one?
