Thanks everyone! It got pretty intense there, but it all turned out for the best.
We started out at 3pm yesterday in a different wing, perinatal I believe, just to start the induction process. She was already 2cm dilated, and they were looking for 3cm to continue with the next step of the process. 12:30am rolls around, and she was finally ready, so they moved us to the labor and delivery ward around 1am.
They then started the next step, but Sophia wasn't having any of it, and her heart rate kept dropping during the contractions, from her cord getting pinched. They broke her water, and tried pumping fluid INTO her, to try and cushion the cord a bit, but that didn't work. Her blood pressure was also going sky high, so they gave her some medicine to help with that and slow the contractions down so her and Sophia could take a breather.
By then she was in a ridiculous amount of pain, and requested her epidural around 3am. They had me wait outside in the waiting room for that procedure, and by the time they came to get me, they had decided to do the cesarean. So, in we went, and she came at 3:55!
