Well with gas prices soaring, the Truck is reserved for well... truck things like towing the bikes to the dunes n back. So the Mazda needs to pull down some more useage. Just picked up a Thule 4 bike hitch mounted carrier... gotta great deal on it at Joe's $100 tho its a 2". Well it'll work great on the truck too I guess. Gotta hitch, 1-1/4" - 2" adapter, and hitch lock coming from www.etrailer.com $150 with free shipping. Picking up the K&N air filter tomorrow $65, kinda spendy if I recall but seems to be the norm here. I'll report back with some pictures and some mileage data... hoping for +2mpg. Think I recall somebody saying the filter swap requires taking apart some extra stuff to get to it?? Should be able to figure it out but if its strange I'll let ya know. Also I'm in the upcoming market for some wheels/tires, could use some tips for Tires. Looking for something affordable, sporty, and lasting, ride quality similar to stockers is fine. Read some of ya'lls post on tires but haven't seen any feedback on Kumho's per say.
