Any (serious) ideas of what I could fetch for the Nav unit in my GT CX7?? I'm thinking of upgrading to a Pioneer D3 or Z2 and was wondering how much you think I could get for the OEM Nav in my car?? I tried searching on Ebay but couldn't find any for sale or completed.

Thanks for your help

You might be able to sell it around $700. I've seen some on eBay before and it hasn't crossed that price range.

Here's one from eBay: OEM NAV UNIT

This is just what I do... but it's guaranteed to get it sold. I start 99% of my auctions at $1, even high dollar ones (like wheels) and that always gets people watching the item and bidding as well. This keeps me from having to worry about it meeting a reserve price and wasting the listing fees. Oh listing at $1 saves on those too.

Again that's just my selling strategy. I don't know how many people would be in the market for an OEM NAV yet but good luck with it either way you want to go.

Step one, look at your invoice for the price of the option. Step two call dealership parts department for a price quote on the navi. Step three list it for a fair price between the two. Step for, SELL SELL SELL.

I do not understand why you would get the Navi option to then take it out and put something aftermarket in. But that is just me its throwing money out the window.

Please note that your Nav system will NOT work in any non-Nav equipped CX-7. Keep that in mind if someone asks on eBay, else you'll have one angry buyer. :)

Knowing that, your nav system is unfortunately worth about $50 to any educated buyer. It ticks me off too, because I'd buy one if it worked.

Reasons are plenty. The Map disk is outdated. The voice recognition is horribly inaccurate. The stereo portion has it's quirks and bugs. After playing with it for a month I realize all the limitations that it has compared to something aftermarket. I probably won't do anything about it soon, though.
