We have been working on bringing our MSP downpipe back and I wanted to post up a GI to see if there would be enough people to do a GB to get the price down on its release.

The retail price on the downpipe is going be be $449 when we re-release it. If we can get 10 or more people we can offer it for $399. If you are interested post.

Thanks for reading

You should offer a package deal with your 80mm exhaust. Id go for that as im gonna buy your exhaust pretty shortly. Nice looking peice though for sure.

I REALLY like that it's (hopefully) 2.5", but $399 especially for a gb price is a little more than I think I wanna pay.. :/

cool design but i think most people here would just be worried that it could break. perhaps some sort of warranty would seal the deal for those who are just mildly interested. ie: buyer shows you pics of their solid mounts and you guarantee the piece doesnt break kinda thing. just an idea. GB or not, we are all happy you are making products for the msp :) keep up the good work.

is it still a 2.5?

^What they said :)

The pipe looks tits but without a flex section and the price i think ill go with another company but VERY NICE LOOKING DOWNPIPE

when the DP is installed, which way does the O2 bung point; slightly up (O2 sensor points down while its wire points up), slightly down (O2 sensor points up while its wire points down), or is it dead horizontal?

The downpipe is made from 2.5 piping and it is setup to use the same pivot section as the original exhaust and it includes the donut.

We do not have plans to have it flanged in the middle. The downpipe will have a 2 year warranty like our other exhaust products.

I am not sure on the package deal with the 80mm exhaust yet.

I've had mine on my car since the week it came out (probably 2005/early 06?) with CS exhaust. Never had a single problem with it and it was well worth the price (which I think was less at the time.) I do have 88 Durometer AWR mounts front and rear. And I use the donut with the spring bolt mounting. Mine is the two-piece version.

is this the original one piece or a revised one piece. I may be interested but that price is a lil steep

yes the original that they made was two pieces and it was changed to a one piece because of leaks between the S and J. To clarify, my question is after the change to the one piece design, is this downpipe the original one piece or is there a revision to the one piece design?

i would probably be in for a group buy. it does seem like a lot of stress is on the part though

The DP is a 1 piece style. We will nto be going back to the 2 piece design.

The O2 sensor wiring is dead horizontal.
