I just saw pics of the corksport fmic kit for the ms6 and man that looks like a ton of ic piping there has to be a shorter route from the turbo to the throttle body any one looked into that?

Bwahahaha Thanx for the help!

I like the concept a little different from the other ones out there hmmmm. Like to get someones opinion who actually has it.

The intake box looks CHEAP

But, it is a different approach, and I kinda like it. Still going CP-E I think.

last time i called them they said it would be around the same efficiency as the cp-e. Im not sure if thats still the case or not.

looks like a decent core should be able to support some good number but the ram air intake looks very very cheesy not a fan of that one. But +1 for corksport they seem to always be there for us mazda guys

how is it "cheesy"? I don't understand that comment at all.... It's a good design in that it uses the stock TMIC ducting to force the air into the filter/turbo inlet

The air box looks cheap. The rest of the piping is all polished, and the air box looks like a cast piece (even though it isnt, but it looks all roughed up in the picture). The studs, that hold on the stock intercooler cover, are about 2 inches too long, and look terrible. A simple bolt and a tapped hole would go a long way.

yeah i dunno i have the cp-e and its very clean and looks nice in the engine bay too... i personally hate something being on top of the motor and i wouldnt put the air box on it.. i understand the concept but it looks cheap... as far as the intercooler itself and the piping.. looks amazing.. but we have limited room for air up front cuz of the crash bar so unless u take that out i cant see how that big of an intercooler would be more efficent than cp-e's.. of course with the crash bar out and alittle bit of cutting of the bumper we could go DSM style and have the intercooler covering the whole opening up front.
