corksport exhaust

I was just wondering how the corksport power series exhaust system is I'm going to be ordering it tom. I just want to know what expecting how does it fit power difference how it looks pretty much everything about it the dissappoint ment is that its only 2.4" but o well thank you in advance

It will "POP" that's all I really now about it. My exhaust pops too at times but I've heard some cars with it and it's rediculous.

I have the corksport exhaust....it sounds nice and yes it does pop when you shift sometimes.....well actually mine shoots flames too. That's cause i have no cat.....if you are not going to put a cat on the car make sure you get the spark plug non foulers so you can re insert your o2 sensor into the pipe. Otherwise for the price you can't beat it. I m happy with it.

what do you mean so you can reinsert ur 02 sensor? it screws right in u'll just trip a cel. ima use the apexr1 harness on mine.

thats I'm glad to hear good things about it I guess it comes with everything from the j pipe back. Now it includes motor mount inserts and everything which is pretty sweet to.

also make sure you get motormounts. The resonator has a tendancy of cracking because of the amount rocking the engine does under load. If it does crack and you don't have mounts, they won't warranty the exhaust.

I've had my corsport forever & besides the crack in the resonator on the midpipe w/ out the flex pipe I have had no issues. I love the exhaust. On the MSP it sounds spectacular. I get pops every once in a while & I pretty much have learned how to get it to do that.

performance wise I could tell a little increase in spool up time but you can certainly tell the car loves the larger diameter pipe...

I thought about getting this exhaust when i get my MSP because its so cheap. now i think i might just shell out some more money and get the Vibrant since its 3".

It came with my car when i bought it...(yea it did...hmm) . I love it though. It is ******* loud though..slightly annoying on long trips. The thing i like though is the fact that it's not like the buzzy ones you hear on most hondas and such. it gets a little buzzy at like 4500 rpms but it's sound nice the rest of the time. it does pop too, but i have never minded..lol.

I just order it and I was wondering how long b4 the res. cracks cause by the time I get I'm going to have to quickly put it on and run down to mryland for nopi will I be alrite?

just as long as you're not doing hard launches all the time, you'll be fine. The newer models have a flex pipe and use the stock spring bolts. Don't tighten the spring bolts all the way down, and you should be ok.

In the corksport exhaust there is no slot for your o2 sensor. So you need to get one welded in the pipe and then screw the spark plug non foulers into the o2 slot and the screw your o2 senson into those. It avoids a cel.

no, there is no slot in the CS exhaust for the 02 sensor so you just use the open slot on the down pipe that currently has a bolt plug in it...

i have my wideband in the downpipe. i really need 2 weld a new bung in my midpipe that kinda sux. eh well.
