Nicest DP ive ever purchased, top notch quality. Installation wasn't bad took me around 3 hours to install the DP and change tranny and motor oil, redline MT-90 and royal purple oil. I guess the hardest part was breaking the stock DP nuts loose, damn they were tight and needed deep sockets and swivel to get to most of them. other than that it was a snap. First thing i noticed was much faster spool and the awesome sound of the wastegate opening and closing!! i guess cause of the divorced set of the CKDP has you can hear the awesome-ness of the turbo better. overall deeper sound and the best part was all the extra power!! the power sticks around to 6000rpms or so before it drops off instead of 5500 with the stock dp, feels like a good 30whp my ass dyno tells me. will try and post pics tomorrow. (drinks) Highly recomended as one your first mods. works great with my TXS ABC(boost controller), deleted 2nd cat and modded stock airbox. i should be getting it dynoed tommorow im hoping for 300whp+(upyours)

Uhh yeah i stared around 2:30pm and was done around 5:30pm, ive been working on cars for many years though so that helps alot, and having the right tools.

heres a pic of what you can see from the top of the engine bay. kinda a bad pic sorry...

Hey Nig3, if the downpipe is the only exhaust mod you've done, do you mind recording a video clip of how it sounds inside the car while driving. I'm planning on getting mine installed.

Thanks

yeah its a 2.5 -3 hour install. sound is only slightly louder on mine im still running 2nd cat

can you put the heashield back on the turbo with the aftermarket downpipe? Leaving no heashield on there I would imagine would leave you more susceptible to heatsoaking the top mount.

the top mount is surrounded by a shield type overlay from the hood... but then again, i must be dreamin.. lol

i want the dp and turbo manifold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
