We have them ready to go! The retail price is $179 and we will be shipping them out on monday. We have the intakes ready for both the 2.0 and the 2.5 models.

The MAF housings are really nice. We spent alot of time getting these perfected for the 2.0 and 2.5 models. The MAF housings are different between the two different engines.

Power Gains for the intakes are

2010 2.5 Liter, Standard Correction:

Peak HP vs. Peak HP: 7hp Gain
Midrange HP Gain: (3k rpm) 11hp Gain

2010 2.0 Liter, Standard Correction

Peak HP vs. Peak HP: 4hp Gain
Midrange (5k rpm) HP Gain: 8hp Gain

i thought about making this its own post...but perhaps it's not really worth it. based on these numbers, is it worth waiting for a CAI? i've heard that SRI are good for midrange power while CAI is good for upper RPM range power. i could be wrong. not sure what the pros or cons are. i'd assume the air IS cooler lower in the engine bay then right up top...any ideas? this looks tempting, but i'm not sure i wanna jump on it just cuz it's the first thing available.

Sorry if there was some confusion there. We will be getting airboxes made for the SRIs in tha next few months but we will not be doing a cold air intake unless enough people want one.

Since you've asked this question a few times in this thread and haven't really gotten an answer I'll try to point you in the right direction.

Depending on the application (NA or FI) there are different benefits to CAI and SRI. On an NA car you will see much higher peak gains from a CAI. Mid-range gains will be pretty close to the same though (again, application dependent). The downside to CAI is the possibility of hydrolock. This is when the intake is splashed with water (since it is down by the wheel well) while you are driving. The engine will stall out and sometimes may be damaged from hydrolock.

On a forced induction application with an intercooler, you will see similar performance values from a CAI and SRI on both mid-range and peak gains. This is because the factor affecting intake air temperature (IAT) is overwhelmingly influenced by the efficiency of the intercooler, not by the atmosphere the engine is breathing from. The complaint with SRI is that you're breathing hot engine bay air. Corksport has helped to limit this short-coming with the use of their intake boxes. The intake box helps to isolate the air the SRI is going to be breathing. Hopefully this answers your question.
