Cooling issue

So here's the issue. The car will idle all day long and not overheat, as soon as you drive 1/2 a mile it starts to overheat and bubble back into the reservoir. I have removed the thermostat and it still overheats, the return hose is hot the intake hose is cool. I have checked and the water flows freely through the radiator but is not flowing back out the return hose. Any one have any ideas before I replace the water pump?

running A/C driving? both fans OK?

Did this come on gradually or suddenly?

If you're at or over 100k, change water pump and belt. Tune up can't hurt either while your at it

The lower rad hose could be collapsing, I would replace it.
