I don't care how slow you want to drive, but when I come up behind you move over. It's seems so simple and would aid so many traffic issues but I'm done boggling why it can't be. I used to be a strict "under no circumstance pass on the right" kinda guy. But 2 months in Atlanta, pulling my hair out waiting for the politeness (or brains) of my fellow commuters to kick in has stripped me of that feeling.Donas64 said:They KNOW slower traffic stays right and they KNOW that you are only supposed to pass on the left.

The nurburgring can be a dangerous place. The people paying money to drive on it know that they are taking their lives into their own hands.
Truth is, Germans are MUCH better drivers than Americans. They KNOW slower traffic stays right and they KNOW that you are only supposed to pass on the left.
Btw, any corner you can do 140 around is more of a gentle sweeper and unless there is a blind dip (in which case you should be slowing down anyways), you should have plenty of time to react to them.
When you pay your money to run on the ring, you are responsible for yourself. No one holds a gun to your head and forces you to drive on it.
You check your mirrors, watch your speed, obey the laws of traffic, and have a heck of a good time.
Its no different than being at a track day...except this is the coolest public track EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to drive both this and Laguna Seca before I die.
wow...i really need to go to Germany...again, wow!dcomiskey said:That's nothing. THIS is THE sickest 'Ring video ever: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1305035467458424752&q=bmw+m3+hans

tsunami said:not so sure if it was said that they were better as in a better race car but more in the sense of the fact that they are more aware and curteous (sp?) and there fore traffic flows more freely and there is less aggression on the roads over there.... don't get your panties in a wad... it was meant as euros as a whole and americans as a whole which is true...
