As most of you know, I met with a Marketing Rep from Continental Tires and they want to sell more tires. this program is aimed at our market and so far we have 3 people who have purchased tires already, Ivan, Cara (Ivan's better half) and Levi. they may expand it, I know he is working to getting them to work on offering the race tires that they use in the Rolex and Conti Series as well. Will let you know if that happens.

You are correct, they're Hoosiers.

Just another quick update for you guys. every month I will have new invitations for Ohio folks. You should also know that there is a 60 day free trial, if you do not like the tires for any reason, you can send them back. Continental is really pushing the Extreme Contact D W tire, so look for some agressive pricing on those tires.

Larry, just buy the DW tires and a cheap winter set-up. You'll be happy you did and the $80 saved on the tires can go towards the winter set-up.

I would like to get a few more miles out of a set of $4-500 tires. I should research this a little more but hp and uhp tires just seem like a waste of money to me. The extra grip does not make up for the loss of miles per dollar.

I am working on the All season aspect as well, with Spring and Summer coming, they're looking toward the summer tires at this point.

I know but the DWS is 500 treadwear. ~the same money and they should last longer. More bang for the buck in my mind. I may be full of crap too, wouldn't be the first time.

That would take me roughly atleast 7-8 summers...
