Conti ExtremeContact DWS tires really BITE!

bite in a good way! here in PA, as much of the rest of the country is also, we had some good snow/sleet this morning. the DWS's really eat up the stuff! I stalled once because I didn't give it enough gas (as I thought I would slip) so I had to get used to NOT slipping, (lol). just gave it more gas, it grabbed real good.
these tires don't clog up w/ snow, I am REALLY happy w/ them. I'm running the stock size 205/50 17.

Nice! I have the DW for my Protege5 and love them. Since my wife isn't too interested in having a summer performace tire on her 3 the DWS are at the top of my list for her summer set-up.

these tires are awesome. we do them alot on more of the "higher performance" cars that come through my shop. Acura TL's and RL's, civic si's and one of the techs has them on his evo as well as on his 2.5 rs imprezza.

I'm about to replace the crap OEM Toyos. How's the road noise on these?

Road noise is fairly low. Considering I have a 215/45 17. Great. Tires. Good wear

I never thought the toyos were especially loud, except on one section of hwy I have to drive. but the DWS's are a good bit smoother and pretty quiet.
