The air direction knob is the one you use to select air for windshield / face / legs. For the lack of a better name, that is. And my problem is that is can't go to windshield only. Surely it's sone s*** under the dash like the cable kboutsider was talking about. I'm a little cautious about pulling the whole console out since it looks like some force might be needed and I'm afraid it might snap.

StealthWyvern, On the driver side it looks like some really tall guy rubbed his head agains the ceiling for like a month (without washing). Also no comment on my lazyness to do anything bout that yet. At least the passenger side is clean and that is what's important lol

Edit: forgot to mention, took the car to the mechanic, jacked it up and exhaust doesn't touch the body, engine mounts are good. His sugestion is that the exhaust is crap and that's why it's loud inside of the car. Still under investigation.

Is it a smokers car? if so that explains why it looks like that. my gf's car gets like that after awhile and vaccums right up.I have a special weapon of choice for doign the car! Its a kirby zipp brush! I highly recommend one.

The squeak over the speed bump is a torn motor mount. I had the same issue. It's not your suspension. Replace the front motor mount and the front bottom mount too.

I removed the OEM air intake, replaced it with the plate you see in the photo then created a new piped intake coming from my bumper grill.

It may be but the easiest way to solve most of my problem was to replace the driver side motor mount. Weird...I know.

The squeak over the speed bump is a torn motor mount.

I did a visual inspection on those and they look ok + the engine moves maybe half an inch when accelerating so not sure about motor mounts. Whatever it is, it squeaks when the car "falls" off the bump. Come to think about it, motor mounts would fit the symptoms... and would explain my noisy engine too.
Will give another look when doing the ATF flush and timing belt next spring.

I'll try to find a Toronto meeting of MP5s so I can listen to others' cars & compare.
