Considering a 2008 CX-7 Grand Touring Purchase

Thanks to all for this great community. I am considering the purchase of a 2008 Grand Touring and wonder if you could share some guidance of things to look for/ ask about. I see several comments regarding the rotors which is quite helpful. Are there other topics to consider?? Thanks a lot in advance

when you test drive, let it idle for 5-10 minutes and look for any smoke out the exhaust. that would indicate bad turbo seals.

Nothing has changed when purchasing used cars, my friend. Most reputable dealers may tell you the true condition of the car (if they know). Some wont.You may even be shown incomplete or bogus reports about the car's condition.
Spend a few extra bucks and take your mechanic with you. Some sellers may even let you drive it for a few hours to see if anything develops (noises, leaks, etc).
If taking your mechanic with you is not an option, at least drive it to a repair shop, have them put it on the lift and examine the underbody yourself.
