Commited to Boost

EGT - Exhaut Gas Tempature. Correct me if I'm wrong. It is simular to a Air/Fuel gauge but instead it will let you know the exhaut temp. The cooler the exhaust temp. the richer your car is running. When it starts to get hot, you are starting to run lean. Or I could be wrong and if I am then ignore this entire post!!!:D

NOpe, you're quite correct, PRO 5. It tells you a bit more to it than that, but the acronoym is correct.

Everyone is right on the money. An EGT gauge is an alternate way of determining your air/fuel ratio. Unlike air/fuel ratio gauges, which read out the value of the stock oxygen sensor, the EGT gauge measures exhaust gas temperature to determine if your car is running lean or rich. A high temperature implies a too-lean mixture, which can damage your engine. The downpipe has a port on the side for installation.

the egt gauge is mostly used on turbo cars, when they turn up the boost so i can tell them if the timing is being puled when the temp goues up thus loosing hp :D, and what ever pro 5 sayd is go to :)~

I hope you turbo'd cats out there understand how hard it is for a guy with no cash to hear you talk about the sound and speed, and what torture i repeatedly subject myself to whenever I watch wshade's flicks (thanks again for). Damn the sound, damn the speed. Us non turbo'd broke wussies are crying ourselves to sleep at night. Or maybe it's just me.
:( sigh..........

Wshade...
that thing is sweet man. Take it to the track, and get it dynoe'd ASAP.
