I'm a big fan of Coldplay....it was the second CD (Rush of Blood To The Head) that got me hooked, the first one has a few great tracks but I don't think it's as consistent. I'm glad someone mentioned Doves, great band....kinda trippy, also Travis is pretty good. Anyone like Interpol? It's an American band that sounds kinda british.

I love Coldplay, it has a very deep meaning to me.

I can't get enough of them and their music always lifts my spirits.
Daylight is one of my favorites, very airy.
I just learned Scientist on the piano (I can't play, but I wanted to play Coldplay)
I just wish I had found out about them earlier and I would've seen them live

I even re-recorded 7 Coldplay songs myself (playing guitar, singing, other stuff) and gave it to my ex as a Xmas gift. The band really meant a lot to us, and she meant a lot to me too.

If you like Coldplay get the live CD/DVD, it's awesome.

Aaaaah, Coldplay, such bittersweet pleasure.

I love the Scientist. Great song. I remember when they performed it, I think at the MTV awards or something like that, and Chris Rock (MC'ing) said "good job, I hope nobody slit their wrists after that"
Back to the original question CLOCKS is a great song as well

I've got Parachutes and the 2nd album - who's name currently escapes me. They are both great CD's. I've got a fair amount of their live videos also - burned a VCD to watch in the car too.

They have a great sound, I remember the first time I heard them I was in a pub in NYC with some friends when I heard parachutes played all the way through. This was before "yellow" was all over the radio. I asked the bartender what cd it was, and he told me - I downloaded the CD that night and bought it the next day.

They have a great chill sound.
