coilpack wire clips - where to get?

In removing the coilpacks I inadvertantly broke one of the plastic clips that connects the coil low voltage wires. It's now held in place by a zap strap.

I have searched this forum and found nothing. I have gone to a dealer and was told it was part of the wiring harness and not replacable.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Can the part be replaced?

Thanks

If you're talking about the coilpack connector (3 pin, from the car's wiring harness) then you're going to have a hard time finding that. Mazda only seems to sell full wiring harnesses for outrageous prices. If you can get the connector from a junkyard it's pretty simple to replace, just pop the pins out of the old connector and press them into the new one.

What exactly broke? The clip that locks it in place? If so I think a zip-tie is more than enough to keep it in place (wrap it in vinyl tape if you're worried).

Yeah, buying a full harness is outrageous. I only broke the locking tab. I've thought of a junkyard fix, just have to find the time to look. In the mean time the zip tie is fine.

any 2.0l with that setup would work...I would look for 626s in junkyards, as they seem to be very prevalent.
