There has been suggestions of using the 1.8L coilpacks but there hasn't been any proven gains but much speculation. Then you have quite a certain few people running ignition amplifiers. Such as Blu-Fire with a Accel 4.6L coil pack and nology wires, or AEM FI/C with nology wires and a msd 4.6L coil pack.....If your interested in the Blu-Fire system PM me.
ford escort coils would do as well, seen that set-up on CP motor , you'll need to know how to hook it up though and modify a metal bracket on top of the engine cover so you can mount those coils there.
