Here is a story on my check engine light.
Engine light came on after an oil change.
I took it to the auto parts store.
Auto parts store told me it was .....whatever.
They refer me to a mechanic.
I tell the mechanic the auto parts store said it was this.
Mechanic with no doubt fixes the problem and says yes that is the case.
Moment I walk out, check engine light comes back on.
I take it back to the auto parts store.
They say it is a different code.
And the cycle repeats.
Problem as in my last post is causing all the check engine light and still has not gone away.
$$$$$$$$ later that is.
Is this a new scam or is it just me ?

How is anyone supposed to help with that kind of vague synopsis........try again and include actual codes in place of "whatever" and "what they said"

I am alluding to a scam that is going on. They are giving me false codes.

Do you have an android fon? If so, then you can get a bluetooth code reader and an app called torque and read codes yourself, then only the car can scam.

Reader - $6 App - $5

And do you know for sure what the mechanics say they replaced was actually replaced? That could be a scam as well...........
