ok so i got it today around 130 finally and i installed it took about 40 min no probs at all installes fine and fits perfect, as for the ass dyno well yea it does boost faster and feels alot more responsive and pulls a lil harder but as for hp gains i dunno i couldnt really tell but like i say i did feel the even more responsiveness of the throttle and the faster boost so i guess yea it gained i dunno i might have been expecting more lol

Looks very nice! I am sorry Cobb had to set you back $165 instead of the $80 shipped hey initially mentioned

did you install the inlet and intake at the same time? if not how much did the inlet change the sound?

very nice, I picked up an Accessport today and they said the inlets are sold out already lol.

how is the sound louder?? btw i dont know wchi one to get because cpe is going to 3 inches and cobb is 2,5 ....I think that wont make difference....

well i did have the sri before i put the inlet on and the inlet makes alot more noise then just the sri, and FYI i thought the sri was crazy on the noise factor, with the inlet you hear alot more turbo whistle. my friend has a jetta and he drove on the side of me to hear the difference and he said WAY LOUDER OUTSIDE OF THE CAR. inside you hear alot more stuff like the low almost boost turbo flutter when you let off the whislte is crazy may b ill post a vid.
as for the boost gauge i didnt want all those big as gauge pods on the steering colum or the ones on the pillar or the center pod either that just ask for ppl to mess with you and im more about havein a sleeper, and lookin clean stock and sleeper i might not be ne more with all that turbo noise from my sri and inlet lol

it will make a difference for which intake system you have. CP-e is offering a 3" coupler for its Xcel & Nano, while offering a 2.5" for all other intakes.

Mine is in route and will be here Monday. I will give my review monday night if I get time to install it.

I was thinking about buying the inlet too and agter reading your guys reviews on them im going to order it. quick question, injen cai is 2.5 as well right?

yeah definately missing the clamps that go on the sleeves for the intake and bpv. like so

i know this might be a noobie question, but I have Mazdaspeed CAI does the MAF and air filter connection com with the SRI. That black piece where the MAF goes on and the filter. Is that from the OEM intake. When i bought my MS3 it already had the mazdaspeed CAI installed.

The inlet stops where bova80 posted where the clamps should go. After the clamps its the Cobb SRI.

The stock intake is a big black box with a corrugated black tube.

any diff between cobb and cpe?? just size?? i think that if cpe has 3 inches diameter is a waste because intake inlet is not 3 so whats the point of having larger tubing if it propably wont increase hp also...
