Cobb SRI safe to run with no datalogger?

Guys I just installed my COBB SRI a couple days ago and all is well. I'm a little paranoid though after reading so many people run lean with them. I don't have any datalogger to check, so is it safe to assume I should put my stock intake back on until I get a datalogger? Or am I just being paranoid. I'm also in phoenix and it 110 plus outside now if that matters. Thanks

I guess I missed how a SRI can make 'em run lean. The computer decides the A/F mixture, right?

You don't need a datalogger to run a sri. Your ecu is going to command a specific AFR and compensate for the added increase in air flow. Nothing to worry about.

Cool guys, yea just wanted to check. Guess I'm being a bit paranoid, but have been reading lots on the forum on this prob. So thanks and I won't worry about it.

Never a problem with being cautious! We are all here to help others and learn!

Yep, all you have to worry about is busting the mounting bracket, wondering why the fins in the air straightener are bending all over, why low end power is delivered as subtly as a hand grenade in a shower stall, why you gotta still oil this POS and where your top end went....

Got that I ain't a big fan of this intake? ...and yeah, I did have one.
