Cobb or TurboXS FMIC?

I have heard nothing but good things about the Cobb unit.
I think with the turboxs some intakes will not work because of the way they run the pipes.
I do like the end tanks much better on the turboxs though. It looks like they would distribute the air flow more evenly along all the core tubes than the cobb unit.
I have not used either though.... just observations.

TurboXS is my vote. it just looks sick and the power whenever you want hot or cold.
Which intake are you running with the Turboxs?

turbo xs intercoolers are garbage... the company doesnt have as good quality or reputation even as COBB, especially not for our cars, go with the COBB you cant go wrong.

not a bad experience, they just don't have an extremely great track record... id gladly spend an extra 100-200 bucks for the COBB setup.. COBB is tried and true, TXS just doesn't have that rep yet.
if youre gonna go with an FMIC, why not just go for the best from the start? theyre expensive for us anyway you look at it... sacrifice the extra cash for the better intercooler.
Same result as far as gains no? Keep the intake issue in mind you will need one that is proven to fit. look at installation on both items as well. The only other thing I would throw in is yes Turboxs does have a bad track record for their other items including customer service issues though I have seen an effort to improve. If you have the cash I go with COBB.
Edit: When you win the lottery and want to go crazy COBB has already done the work for you with other upgrades if you decide to stick with them.

If you are going to spend that much then what's another $100-$200 to get higher quality. I'm running TurboXs stuff but the power steering thing sounds like a pain. Even if you're paying for the install it'll cost you more for them to mess with that stuff. Get the COBB.

What are your mods already to go with the intercooler you want?
I think that Im going with the Cobb FMIC thanks guys....now my big thing is to decide wether or or not i want the cobb sf sri or the AEM/ mazdaspeed CAI. i dont know which one i will get more gains through and which one sounds better. As far as i know they both make the same power until like 90mph plus. and as far as engine temps i would hate to get stuck in traffic with a sri.
