Then yes, I can see that. Looks is all up to personal preference. Functionality is another thing. After I sold the MS3, I threw the TWM knob into my miata and it made an even bigger difference.

+2 on stock knob IF mine didn't come all chipped from the factory..

Take it back and get it replaced under warranty. That's what I did with my '06 GTO when I had it. The "metal" plastic covering started bubbling up (common problem) and they replaced it under warranty, no problem.
