(headbang)just finishing installing these 2 great pieces. the rear sway bar.. no sweat. the front sway bar was ridiculous. had to lower the front subframe and then snake out the front sb. took a good hour and a half trying to get it out and the new one put in. but it was all very well worth it. the time and sweat put into the job surely paid off. everything fit perfectly. now i can take the corners like a true champ!(yippy)

ill try to get some pictures. i should have done it while it was still on the lift but i didnt have my camera with me.

Oh you did it on alift. That must have been much easier! We struggled a bit. How many miles on them and what kind of driving do you do? Congrats on the install of the bars. i am quite happy but it is a little bit different car in the handling Eh? My braking has been affected in a good way. I wish I could measure the improvement in control and seemingly shorter distances to reel her in!. looks like your car is coming along nicely, Alot.

what kind of driving do i do... spirited. hahah. im trying to get into autox. just cant find anything near jacksonville nc. handling has definately gotten a lot better for me that ive noticed. havent really tested the brakeing yet. i dont think it could change that much.. could it? i wanna do that car and driver test with all the mods i got on now and see how much better i do. i think that owuld be really fun.

damn right im gonna put them to good use. i was skeptical at first. cuz when the suspension is dropped, the frton sway bar touches this control arm type thingy. not sure what it is. but it sit diretcly above the control arm. perpendicular to it. but once the car is sittin ont he ground. it clears it so i was happy again. =) these bars are working wonderfully.

When you stiffen the car, the braking distance should be reduced. As forward weight transfers under hard braking in straight, the stiffer springs and bars keep the car more level and balanced getting all the tires to work. Also braking into rougher turns the car stays level side to side and settles quicker so you can throttle out of turn sooner. I did a full pedal straight line emergency stop on an abandoned road from 80 with two 250lb guys with me so we could see the difference. I believe I heard holy s*** after we came to a quicker and totally stable stop! As i get used to the new package, more impressed every day. Spirited Driving you bet! have fun and be safe. Save up for the eibachs mentioned on another thread or get the Cobb springs like I have. I think you will be pleased.

Hey Eric, those SU boost tubes work with the stock TMIC?

yeah they should. i dont see why not.it should fit just fine. cuz if you upgrade the tmic you can use the stock tube. and the su tubes only replace it with better material. so yeah. you can.

I think speedalot is correct. It would be nice if someone designed something solid for higher boost levels and stock mount. Even SU sent hose clamps instead of t- clamps. C,mon. Thirty pounds will blow those right off! But for stock boost [15.6] you still should consider an upgrade on piping for boost consistency, imo

not to interrupt but driving the hills last weekend, my car is just stupid. The bars and springs are the s*** period. and no, less spin but more torque steer over the rough bits and thats ok because she is finding traction. I also had tire installed before bars and springs. Also a bit heavier feel but returns to center very nicely coming out of turns

When I've done some spirited driving on back roads I didn't have too much squeal. I know I was takining the turns pretty hard. This was before the sway bars. Suspension felt fine, just a little rolly.

I never really spun my tires to much. And I really haven't done hard driving. Weathers been crap. When I go to the track next I'll let you know how it feels.but regular driving, it's point and go. Or turn and go rather. Crisp solid lane changes less body roll. Definately a good investment
