Cobb email tunes for AP

So does anyone have one? The kind where you pay a couple hundred bucks and they email the tune to you? I'd like to know as much as I can about this since there is nowhere to get a tune near where I live.
Can anyone give any info? How about positives/negatives?

I only have a MSCAI and that's it.

I could be wrong, my car is not tuned at all, but it will be soon, but it seems to me that mailing your ECU somewhere, or having them e-mail you a map is going to be the same as using an OTS Map that comes with the AP. Theres no point because they can't test the map on YOUR car I could see the value in something like that if you have completely different mods than what the AP calls for, but with only a CAI I'm pretty sure going with the basic Stage 1 CAI map is going to get you the best results for the time being.

IF IM NOT mistaken its a trial and error situation where you send in datalogs and they then send you maps untill it looks good.

thats how they do it. its a custom tune they way they would do it except your sending in data logs of what they want to see. and i believe they do it forever.

While an E-Tune will not be the most optimized tune for your car, using datalogs from the AccessPORT allows us to refine the maps for more performance if you are not able to physically get to a tuner. Some AP users are just too far away from any dynos or ProTuners to make a dyno tune feasible. These work very well bridging that gap.
