Be advised Progressive is one of the companies that regularly searches results online for people "racing" their insured cars and drops them.

Progressive also gives you a quote for your insurance with the assurance "Yes, those tickets are taken into account with this quote" And then a month later your premium jumps to about 2.5 times the payment on the car. No thanks. I will not be getting insurance with them again. $460 a month on a Ford Ranger is bulls***, thats why I cancelled it and put my Protege back on. I can't wait to cancel it altogether.




We should start a thread warning of road construction areas + police hotspots. I know of a few pretty bad ones.

Ok i have to say i love the red all around lilburn. That is my home town and the sad thing i can't disagree. Lilburn is one of the worst places to drive when it comes to construction.

Anyone headed to or from Columbus... there is construction... EVERYwhere on 85.

985 is messed up from exit 22 all the way past exit 16.




A cop likes to sit on the right side of the road down a logging path so he is hidden. This is approximately 2 miles away from exit 16 on the way into Atlanta. I've seen a lot of people get pulled over there because you've just gone through all the construction.

Also on 985, on the south bound side under the median bridge at Friendship Road there usually sits a cop car...

Note: there is usually no cop in said car but once placed, it will sit there approx. 7 days.

Construction in oakwood is horrible. Not so much on the main road but if you have to turn off it, it gets ugly.

There was a wreck right there at BK. If I had your number, I would've called you and told you to go through the parking lot right there and back around past my apts. but I did not. Perhaps next time you should give me your number or visa versa. They must've had it cleaned up by the time you passed by.
