Cobb County Road Contruction 1: Protege5 0

yeah he would have had to tell you that law before he could have cited you for it. my first car had a ricer muffler on it and i got pulled over for my exhaust being too loud. When i questioned him what the law was or if he had the equipment to measure it all i got was a stuttered response and a see ya drive safe

Damn Korey, you're bad. Tell that fooking pig what's what!

wow, that sucks man....like Prodigy says, make sure to get pics showing the actual depth and everything and send those pics and a letter to the city about the problem that it caused....

I had the sameish thing happen to me a while back. Huge hole left by city contstruction and i nailed it and bent a rim....we sent a letter w/ pics etc and they cut a check for a new rim, tire and alignment...

Wow... Luke, sorry about your car. JA, hope you're okay and it's nothing too serious. Maybe just whiplash?

Only 1 thing to do: get in the truck and set it on 'special terrain mode' (AKA Loading the race car on the trailer mode). Suspension lifted about 4" and got us a better angle on the trailer, and the car slid on from there with no issues :D

I guess once you lifted the Cayenne up 4" your headlights were at an illegal height now too, right?? freaking cops, i sware.

anyway, Rogue good luck with everything. I would have done the same thing because after looking at those pics you really can't tell it would do much damage (unless you're really flying).. and once you're already upcoming to it, what do they expect you to do?? that's beat how they just left it uncovered like that.

I can't locate the law but there's one somewhere :

<table id="myTable" border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="775"><tbody><tr style="background: rgb(232, 232, 232) none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial;" bgcolor="#ffffff"><td class="body11" align="left" height="24"> 200729934</td> <td class="body11" align="left">09/03/2007

Besides that, you aren't legally allowed to modify the car's ride height +/- 2".

Luke sent this to me "she got picked up. ended up bending the tail pipe a little to get it on the truck, then drug the front bumper. it hurt to watch it go"

:(

Aw.... *Pats to you and Luke*

Sorry to see so much s*** happening to your ride. Hope it gets fixed better than new!

x3.

That sucks man. Hopefully things workout soon.
Keep your tweeked oil pan... It may be salvageable (summer welding project.)

They were taking it to the bodyshop so they can see exactly what's been borked. Luke said that the claims guy said that they'll cover the aftermarket parts (oil pan, downpipe, etc.). If the car ends up being totalled, he said Luke is allowed to take the aftermarket parts off as long as he has a stock component to replace it with. I'm liking Progressive more and more...

Sorry to hear about that. I'd be calling the cities street department and letting them know. Be polite, they should have had some signs out. I worked for Cedar Parks road and bridge here in TX and be for you started anything you had to have signs out. They should pay for it.

Shouldn't be totaled unless the motor is toast I would think.

If it is though......
