Anyone who wants a deal on the last production run of these FMIC's shoot me a PM. I'm probably going to get hold of at least some of the last ones.

Cobb got A LOT of s*** from the mazda community and was met with a lot of unsupportive feedback during their run. Now this isn't saying that a majority of the mazda community gave them s*** but you know how things go. Usually the idiots who can't wait a couple months for a quality product get angry and b**** and moan. The people who don't mind waiting say nothing. It's a shame that they're leaving but we'll always have our trusty old sponsors around to back us up (I hope). Shameless plug for all of our awesome sponsors (thumb)
hopefully they dont end up axing the turbo inlet before i can get my hands on one
because some people want silicon and not metal for keeping temps down.
IM looking at my new cobb fmic and wondering why the hell they would stop making it. It is beautiful!

to each their own. i still can't understand why people are so off-put by cpe's fmic. who cares if it's not centered...my temps are better than anyone else in my area
we've proven with dash hawk logs there is no difference between the silicone and steel. we still see temp drops of six degrees or more. i'd say for $99 thats well worth it.
corky bell, godfather of forced induction, goes to great lengths in far better engineering terms and science as to why steel is not only fine, but arguably better, than any other material for heat conductivity in relation to intake pipes and intercooler pipes. a good number of companies, bell engineering included, use stainless steel for charge piping. if your temps are way out of whack, i guarantee you it has more to do with post turbo intercooler efficiency and little to nothing to do with an air inlet.
i could not rock an off center Core. theres no way in hell.
Intercooler kits that have off center cores=FAIL
^ Agreed.
F cobb, that shows how much they care about their paying customers that help to keep them in business. Why $1K for front mount setup? There are companies that charge way less for FMIC setups. Piping $300, core $200, there is your fmic. So all those of you who threw away $1K for cobb front mount, that's not good enough, people b**** too much, therefore they aren't selling them anymore.
Hey next time cobb releases something new make sure you praise them on daily basis for being the bestest company ever!!
</vent>
what the **** is cobb going to release next?
intercoolers that cool worse but are centered = FAIL
intercoolers that cool just a well as cpes, are much cheaper and are centered makes CPE's off centered IC=FAIL(blarf)
no i dont have logs and FMIC's arent rocket sceience.
im not going to pay boocoo bucks for a name. and off center FMIC.
more power to you dude, but im going to pay less than 450 for my FMIC and achieve the same thing...MORE POWER and have extra money for other mods
people are running meth mostly when fully bolted. so i dont see what meth has to do with this
i don't understand why noone is making piping instead of full kits. i got my ED piping CHEAP and IC. The setup w/hardware came out to be ~$500 in the long run.
