Cobb ap

So I just got my cobb ap and I am eager to hook this thing up to my car. I have a cp-e sri densos itv-24 cat back exhaust and a forge bpv. Which map would be best for this setup and not have to worry about any engine damage?

I would try just the stage 1 + SRI maps, either 91 or 93. 93 octane would be the ideal map, slightly more power. All depends on what your car likes better, make sure you monitor. I would also suggest calibrating your MAF because you have slightly different mods than what the cobb OTS maps call for.

i was going to ask the same question, i have a cobb sri, turbosx diverter valve and a custom catback exhuast, you think the stage one sri 93 map would be good with those mods, does say stock bpv and exhuast.

None of them are going to be perfect for your application. Whatever one you use, I would suggest either downloading ATR from Cobb's website (if you can tune yourself) or paying a reputable shop to tune it for you. I've been building a custom tune from a Cobb OTS map for the last 6 months or so, and it's finally getting close to "done", but I was just trying to make it safer, not make the absolute most power I could.

I'm going to be getting an AP here within a month I believe, I've been trying to stay within the limits of the maps as much as possible so I wouldn't have to take it to a tuner (I don't think there are many here in Northeast Ohio that tune Mazdaspeeds).

I guess I just want to verify with all of you on which map I should use.. I think the map that's good for my setup is the Stage1+SF 93 Octane. My mods are a Cobb SRI, Cobb inlet, and a Forge BPV. I'll definitely be sure to datalog when I first load the map, but you guys think that'll be a good map to start with?

That would be fine. And remember, with ATR you can calibrate your MAF, which isn't really that hard, to adjust for extra/less air flow.

Hmm, just curious as to what map as well. No Cobb products on my MS6, I have CS products. Any suggestions?

Always go with the one that's most similar to the mods you have BUT you gotta adjust it with ATR if it doesn't run right.

The problem is most can't tune it themselves and if the OTS maps don't work, it can hurt the engine. So put the MSCAI map, run for 50 miles, tune your MAF, then make logs and see if everything works.
