What Clutch should I buy? I'm never looking to go above 210hp so I don't need anything monstrous. What is a good, durable, and smooth clutch?

Buy the clutch net 6 puck sprung clutch....then let me know how it does.

I can tell you the ACT street is worse than the stock msp, in both holding ability and durability.

Get a spec stage 2. I have one in my other turbo car. I flat out abuse it, and it holds up everytime. When my OEM one goes in the MSP, the Spec Stage 2 will be my only choice.

I actually cant beleive how long my stock clutch has lasted. I beat the crap out of it and its still going strong. I am just waiting for that day it starts to slip so I have an excuse to through in a freshy..

I'm a little curious as to how you know when a clutch is starting to slip. This is my first manual that I've owned, so I've never experienced one going bad before. It seems like my engagement chatters sometimes, but I've learned to rev a little higher to avoid that. But I do notice sometimes that when taking off in 1st normally from a stop, it almost seems to skip once right before full engagement. I always assumed that it was just the tempermental engine.

^ that is called clutch chatter. mainly because of the damn rubbers instead of springs.

slipping clutch is say when u're in second, and the clutch is fully released, and u gun it.
the engine revs up but the car does not realy go faster = clutch is slipping.

ACT or Advanced Clutch Technology!

Great street drivable and rated up to 260 Ft/Lb

That ACT looks like it uses rubber like the stock ones. Are springs better?

Thanks for the explanation Dr. Sound

I really like mine. I dont have any complaints with it and I like the pedel feel as well as the engagement of it.

I'm thinking once my current clutch goes, I'm gonna have some money and be getting a Spec stage 2, and hopefully I'll have enough for the quaife LSD...it looks like thatd make my driving more fun(specially once more power becomes known to my engine and tranny..mwuahahahahahaha.
