OK, I havent managed to get a straight answer on this from anyone, and I couldnt find it on the search.

Basically when I let the clutch out quickly I can feel an odd jerk in the pedal. It does it in neutral, and even with the engine off...

Anyone else notice this, or have any clue what it might be?

Not too sure what it could be but possibly try bleeding the line for a bit and see if there is any air in the line. Only thing it costs you is fluid and time. It would at least eliminate that from the list of potential problems.
